DESCRIPTION  This course teaches you the basic system administration skills
           needed to support a workstation or multi-user group.
OBJECTIVE    After completing this course, you should be able to:
           -   Describe the duties of a system administrator
           -   Identify the system features of AIX/6000
           -   Install the AIX/6000 operating system software and licensed
               program products
           -   Describe the user support environment
           -   Use the systems management interface tool (SMIT) to:
               --  Create logical volumes
               --  Add I/O devices
               --  Add, change, and delete users of the system
               --  Perform problem determination
               --  Backup and restore the system
           -   Write a basic shell script
           -   Understand the purpose of X windows and Motif
           -   Use simple data and network tools
PREREQ.      Before taking this course, you should have completed AIX/6000 for
           Users (Q1013), or gained equivalent AIX knowledge.
